What is the difference between high yield and standard yield?

What is the difference between high yield and standard yield?

Generally manufacturers make cartridges available in different sizes to suit consumer's different needs. Cartridges commonly come in three different sizes.

A standard yield is the most common size cartridge and prints a smaller number of pages, when compared to the high yield or extra high yield. They are cheaper up front, however the cost per page is usually higher. For customers that don't print often, the standard yield is recommended.

A high yield and extra high yield cartridge holds more ink and toner than a standard cartridge and offers significantly more prints. They are more expensive up front, however the cost per page is usually lower. For customers that have a high volume of printing it is usually more value for money.

Please check to ensure your printer can take a high yield cartridge before purchasing it.
