My cartridge is still reading low or empty after installing a new cartridge.

Genuine 
For all genuine cartridges that do not have the correct ink levels, please contact your printer's manufacturer to troubleshoot.

Compatible
Ink Station cartridges are manufactured by a combination or new and re-manufactured parts. Cartridges used the the newer printer models can be reset once the cartridge has been refilled. However, it's harder to reset older models. The usage of these cartridges will need to be monitored by the user.    

For all compatible cartridges that do not have the correct ink levels, please try the following reset:

1. Take the cartridges out.
2. Turn the printer off and leave off for 2-3 minutes.
3. With a lightly damp tissue of cloth, wipe the metallic chip / contact point on the cartridge.
4. Wipe the corresponding contact point with in the printer.
5. Turn the printer on and install the cartridges.
