How many pages will my cartridge print?

How many pages will my cartridge print?

Since everyone's printing habits are different, the number of pages a cartridge can print will vary. The estimate number of pages is measured using a standardise methodology determined by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO). This is standard is applied across the industry and are used by all those selling printer cartridges. Print jobs with multiple pages, graphics, charts, and/or large amounts of solid black or colour coverage will reduce the amount of pages you get.

Using this standard, one (1) page is based on a 5% coverage of an A4 page. The Ink Station invoice is approximately 5% coverage.

For example, a toner with an estimate yield of 2,500 pages would be reduced to 1,250 pages when printing at 10% coverage (a letter about 3,000 characters).
